Surgery
Leaving your pet for a surgery in the clinic can be stressful for both the owner and the pet itself. In most cases, the surgical intervention is planned in advance. In one such moment, it is beyond question that each and every pet owner needs the more detailed information that our personnel will gladly provide. Every pet owner worries about the pain and the stress your pet experiences during and after the surgical intervention. At our clinic, our personnel is well-familiar with all those factors and makes every endeavour to ensure the stress-free, comfortable environment for your pet. We collaborate with highly qualified experts and we have a well-equipped operating room at our disposal.
The doctor in charge sees the patients for a planned surgery till 13:00 on the appointed day. Before the surgery, the pet owner can feel free to ask the doctor questions.
In the morning right before the surgery, your pet’s stomach needs to be empty (food intake needs to be cut off by midnight).
Once the surgical intervention is complete, the doctor in charge is responsible for getting in touch with you and informing you about how the surgery went as well as how your pet recovers.
Some of the most performed surgeries at our clinic are the surgical interventions on soft tissues. Some of these interventions can be as simple as castration, hernia, reconstruction of skin defects and small tumours removal while others can be much more complex such as orthopaedic, ocular, abdomen and thoracic surgeries.
